Chief of Staff of UAE Armed Forces meets his Australian counterpart
Chief of Staff of the UAE Armed Forces Lt. General Hamad Mohammed Thani Al Rumaithi met here today Australian Defence Force Chief of Staff Lt. General David Hurley.
The two sides reviewed the existing cooperation ties between the UAE and Australia and ways to enhance them to serve mutual interest, especially in the defence and military areas. They also tackled a number of issues of common interest.
Lt. General Al Rumaithi thanked his Australian counterpart for good hospitality accorded to the visiting UAE delegation. He lauded the cooperation ties between the two countries, wishing more progress to Australia.
The UAE delegation arrived yesterday in Australian Capital, Canberra, where it was received by Hurley, Brig. Pilot Abdullah Al Sayyed Mohammed Al Hashimi, Military Attache at the UAE Embassy in Australia and a number of senior Australian Defence Force officers.
