Michel Claims ADGC Monthly Stableford Event

ABU DHABI — Frederick Michel won the February monthly Stableford event sponsored by Rivoli held at Abu Dhabi Golf Club on Saturday with a fine score of 41 points, according to a press release.

In the men’s A division the scoring was excellent given the course is still in premium Championship condition.

Michel playing off a 12 handicap finished with birdies on 16 and 18 to take first place followed by Tom Morgan who birdied holes one and the difficult par 4 hole 16.

Mike Revell came in third with 39 points to continue his good form with his win, place and show in the previous three events.

In the men’s B division, Noburu Kamakura had an excellent and consistent round and took first place with 40 points.

Phillipe Paulissen took second place with 39 points and Arthur Stankiewicz completing the placings with 35 points.

In the women’s section, two nett eagles on her back nine gave Natalya Wisely the first place on countback over Cathy Feron.

Pascale Michael who came in a close third.

Chris Cole got a hole in one on the seventh.

Abu Dhabi Golf Club thanked Rivoli for their continued support of member events.
