Al Jazira blanked neighbours Al Ain 4-0 in Week 10 of the Etisalat UAE Pro-League at the Mohammed bin Zayed Stadium on Sunday night.

Bare scored in the sixth, 44th and 80th minutes, while Ahmed Jumaa scored the other goal in the 29th minute. Ibrahim Diaky missed a penalty in the 50th minute.

“The scoreline doesn’t give a true picture of our performance tonight,” Braga said after the game.

“We were a bit unlucky because we created a lot of chances. We deserved to win this game but we made a lot of mistakes. At the same time, Al Ain too were a bit unlucky. They didn’t deserve to lose by four goals,” he added.

Meanwhile, Al Ain coach Abdul Hameed Al Mishtiki said that they lacked quality foreign players. “We lack some quality in terms of foreign players. All the goals were individual mistakes from our side. We got a lot of chances, but didn’t score. Jazira had a few opportunities and they scored. This was the difference.”

Mishtiki said that they needed to nurture their young players as well. “Quality foreign players are the ones that make the difference. Our young players will have their place in the first team in due course. They’ve done a good job in the Etisalat Cup and they are the future of the club,” he said.

He said that mistakes by a few of the players shows on the entire team. “The mistakes made by some players get reflected on the entire team performance. We made a lot of mistakes and that helped Jazira,” said Mishtiki.
