Mohammed hails team performance
DUBAI - General Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, hailed the Asian Games performance of UAE football team during a telephone call to Mohammed Khalfan Al Rumaithi, president of the UAEFA.
Al Rumaithi told the Abu Dhabi Sports Council that “the national team faced a defeat which they didn’t deserve, but still the boys in white made history by winning the first ever silver medal in the football competition of the Asian Games.”
Al Rumaithi lauded the support of UAE’s wise leadership and General Shaikh Mohammed for sports in general and football.
