UAE started with keeper Ali Khusaif, defenders Abdul Aziz Haikal, Mohammed Ahmed, Hamdan Al Kamali, Abdullah Mosa, Zeyab Awana, Amer Abdul Rahman, Mohammed Fawzi, Mohammed Al Shehhi, Ahmed Ali and Ahmed Khalil.

In the second half, the UAE coach pulled out Mohammed Al Shehhi and sent in Omer nAbdul Rahman and Saeed Al Kathiri instead of Ahmed Khalil. Abdul Rahman was sent off in the dying minutes of the tough clash.
