Al Ain held
AL AIN - Al Ain were held to a 1-1 draw by 10-man Al Shabab in Week 11 of the Etisalat UAE Pro-League at the Tahnoun bin Mohammed Stadium in Al Ain on Thursday night.
Al Shabab were down to 10 men in the 34th minute but went ahead two minutes later. But Al Ain got the equaliser in the 63rd minute. The draw dropped Al Ain one spot to 10th place in the 12-team table. Al Ain have won just two games this season. They have drawn five and lost four and have 11 points. Al Shabab are fourth in the league with 16 points. They have won five, drawn one and lost five matches.
Al Ain were thumped 0-4 by Al Jazira at the Mohammed bin Zayed Stadium on Sunday night and the club management acted swiftly in changing the coach. The club management were not happy with the recent results and fired Abdul Hameed Al Mishtiki.
