The ADMM, venue operators of the Yas Marina Circuit, are offering UAE fans special ‘Golden Tickets,’ for the Grand Prix. Fans will get an opportunity to win these tickets by taking part in a competition featuring six questions. The competition got going on Tuesday and will run until tickets go on sale in the UAE on Sunday.
Yas Marina Circuit will publish a series of six competition questions. All correct answers will be entered into a draw, and five lucky winners will receive a luxury prize package that will include behind-the-scenes F1 experiences never before available to the general public, the ADMM said.
“We wanted to offer something special for Formula 1 fans in the UAE,” Richard Cregan, CEO of ADMM said. “Not only are we giving the UAE community the chance to buy tickets a day before they go on sale to the rest of the world, but with the Golden Tickets offer we’re doing something very special and very exciting that I believe has never been done before,” Cregan added.
The ADMM said that race fans wanting to take part in the ‘Golden Tickets’ competition should visit the Yas Marina Circuit Official Fan Page on Facebook at www.facebook.com/yasmarinacircuit. A new question about Formula One will appear each day and the answers can be found either on YouTube or on the Fan Page. The final question will appear on Sunday and that answer can only be found by visiting either the Marina Mall in Abu Dhabi or the Dubai Mall from 10 a.m. Contestants will then submit all six answers on special entry forms available at one of the Yas Marina Circuit ticket stands situated at both malls. The winning entries will be drawn at 9 p.m at both malls on Sunday.
Cregan said that they will reveal the prize package over the coming days. “We’ll be revealing details of the Golden Tickets prize package over the next few days,” said Cregan. “I’m confident that all true F1 fans will want to take part when they realize what’s on offer,” he added.
Tickets for Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, which takes place at Yas Marina Circuit from November 12-14, will go on sale to the UAE community at 4 p.m on Sunday at special ticket stands at the Marina Mall Abu Dhabi and the Dubai Mall. There will be three ticket categories on offer. The Grandstand tickets will be priced at Dh 1,800 for two days and Dh 2,000 for three days, with the same pricing for all seats. Starting on Sunday, there will be a 20 percent discount for a limited period, with tickets selling at Dh 1,440 and Dh 1,600 respectively.
The Premium ‘Category 1’ tickets will be available at Dh 4,250, or Dh 3,400 with the 20 percent limited-period discount. These three-day tickets offer fans the chance to enjoy balcony seating, air-conditioned lounges with food and beverage service, and VIP parking. The prestigious Paddock Club tickets start from Dh 14,480 with the two or three-day tickets enabling race-goers to enjoy a full VIP experience.
