A fire which broke out in a Dubai building that housed a car garage and a contracting company has been contained. No casualties were reported in the fire that was reported at 8.50am from Umm Ramool.
The Dubai Civil Defence reached the fire site in under seven minutes and brought the blaze under control by 10.36am, the authority said.

Thick black fumes were seen billowing from the area in the morning.
