The booth attracted a large number of visitors who were keen to learn more about the new programmes and courses the university offer at the three-day exhibition in its 24th issue with around 500 exhibitors offering more than 2,500 studies and training options in over 40 countries.
Dr. Sulaiman al Jassim, Vice President, Zayed University, said “Zayed University launched new educational and training courses at the exhibition which aims to support Emirtisation and enhance knowledge through the participation of many institutes. The exhibition attracts thousands of visitors that are expected to reach 30,000 visitors from the UAE and the Region.”
Newly introduced programmes this year through the Institute of Islamic World Studies at Zayed University include 4 new masters including: “Master of Arts in Contemporary Islamic Studies”, “Master of Arts in Endowment Studies”, “Master of Arts in Islamic Economics and Wealth Management” and “Master of Arts in Islamic World Studies”.
Another Graduate programme recently launched by the College of Arts and Sciences is “Master in Museum Studies. “
Bryan Gilroy, Assistant Provost for Enrollment Management at Zayed University said, “Zayed University is keen to participate in such major exhibition that is of relevance to education and training in the UAE. Since the early years of establishing this exhibition the university has partnered with GETEX to help create a fully interactive platform to attract students from different nationalities to apply to the university offering a competitive environment and high-standard educational programs.”
This exhibition also, he continued, plays a vital role in strengthening the ties other institutes, organizations, and universities to support the UAE’s mission in Emiritisation through providing jobs and preparing the young generations educationally bearing in mind the emerging challenges.
