Held at the Knowledge Village, the 10th Inter College Public Speaking Competition invited students to present strong and pertinent cases related to the environmental issues faced by today’s world. The green warriors from schools and universities in the GCC discussed a broad range of topics which included, ‘Are we generating a lot of waste’, ‘Intelligent use of water’, ‘Environmental role the media can play’ and ‘Global Challenges – Local Actions’.

With impressive presentations, artistic posters and strong oratory skills, the students sparred with each other in a friendly competition. The two-day competition saw students from the Prince Sultan University of Riyadh walking away with the winning trophy.

More than 60 private and government educational institutions from six GCC countries participated in the competition.
