The first day of the celebrations will be held at the Cultural and Scientific Association in Dubai, and the other two days on the premises of the School in Deira.

The activities will begin with the arrival of Shaikh Mohammed, who will visit the school texts exhibition, in which original copies of the textbooks taught in the campus will be on display. Original certificates of the students, their notebooks and instruments of writing will also be showcased.

Shaikh Mohammed will also visit the photography exhibition, which includes a number of distinctive memorial photos of the school before and after it was being refurbished, as well as group pictures of students with their teachers and the morning assembly.

Folklore troupes will perform at the ceremony among other heritage shows, said Abdullah bin Jassim Al Mutairi, advisor of the heritage locations at the Department of Tourism and Commercial Marketing.

Built in 1912, the school was the first seat of learning in the Emirate of Dubai, and was founded by Shaikh Ahmed bin Delmouk, and later his son Mohammed completed its building and attracted a number of outstanding teachers.

The school played a prominent role in upgrading the standard of education in the Emirate and became the centre of attraction to both the dignitaries and the common people.
