High school students were familiarised with the majors that qualify them for getting jobs that suit their interests and inclinations after graduation.
Students could attend 23 workshops hosted by each of the DWC academic departments — Applied Communications, Business, Education, Health Sciences and Information Technology.
DWC students and staff members were on hand to give a campus tour, including college’s world-class facilities such as the gym, library and cafeteria, as well as answer questions on degree programme offerings and campus life.
“The purpose of the Open Day is not only for the high school students to observe the facilities, programmes and campus, but for them to interact with current students, ask as many questions, and witness the spirit, loyalty, and passion of both DWC faculty and staff,” said Dr Behjat Al Yousuf, DWC Associate Director,.
“For over 21 years, we have been an HCT flagship institution providing world-class education for women, and we want to share our passion with the youth who are looking for guidance as to choosing the right path for their career and life in general.”
