Prof. Mohammed Galal El Din Ahmed, Dean of DMC, said: “The Medical Education Symposium offers a unique platform for internationally renowned speakers and experts to share their knowledge and facilitate discussion among educators and practitioners in the region. By organising the symposium annually, we have been able to address newer challenges in medical education while ensuring continued excellence.”
Speakers at the symposium included Prof Jane Dacre, Medical Director of the MRCP, Federation of Royal Colleges of Physicians of the UK; Dr Syed Tanzeem Raza, Director of Medical Education, Royal Bournemouth and Christchurch Hospitals in the UK; Prof John Rees of King’s College London School of Medicine; and Prof Hossam Hamdy, Vice-Chancellor of Medical and Health Sciences Colleges at the University of Sharjah, UAE.
