Heriot-Watt University Principal and Vice-Chancellor Professor Steve Chapman and Vice-Principal and Head of Dubai Campus Professor Ammar Kaka were present at the second annual event, bringing a flavour of Scottish sport, entertainment and cuisine to the people of Dubai. Proceeds from the event went to Al Noor training Centre for Children with Special Needs.
“This is the second year the Dubai campus has celebrated Scottish culture with the Highland Games. The event is becoming a fixture on the calendar, especially for Scottish expats and other nationalities looking to experience a taste of Scotland,” said Professor Steve Chapman.
