Hamdan gives nod to list of medical award winners
Shaikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and UAE Minister of Finance, approved in his capacity as patron of the Shaikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for Medical Sciences a list of winners of the award’s 7th edition.
Shaikh Hamdan on Thursday gave his consent during a meeting at Zabeel Palace with Abdul Rahman Mohammed Al Owais, acting Health Minister and Chairman of the Award Board of Trustees, who briefed him on the arrangements for hosting the award giving ceremony on December 10 and the parallel 7th Dubai International Conference for Medical Sciences which will be held on December 11-12.
Dr Najeeb Al Khaja, Secretary General of Shaikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for Medical Sciences, said Shaikh Hamdan approved winners of the three categories: International Awards, Arab World Awards and UAE Awards.
