Emax MindGame: Bringing out their creativity
Over 600 students from schools and colleges in the UAE got together at the Emax MindGame 2012. Students were divided into two categories from Grade 6 to 8 and Grade 9 to 13 as they competed in events like debate, elocution, dumb charades, what’s the good word, creative writing, 20 questions, collage and just a minute.
The competition provided an opportunity to stimulate young minds and provide a platform to showcase their talents in various multi-disciplinary events which were designed to bring out their best in the form of creativity and ingenuity.
“Hosting this initiative gives us an opportunity to encourage students to bring out their creative side while providing a healthy platform to compete with each other, said Dr Janakiraman Moorthy, Director of the Institute of Management Technology (IMT), Dubai
Scholarships worth more than Dh2.2 million were awarded by IMT, Dubai to the Winners of Emax MindGame 2012. The Overall trophy was won by Gems OOIS, Dubai, followed by DPS Sharjah who were the first runner up and OOEHS (Girls), Sharjah who were the second runner up.
With a plethora of literary pursuits, there seemed to be a creative atmosphere all around. The participants left no stone unturned in their quest for excellence.
