Annual education conference begins at ECSSR
Under the patronage of General Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces and President of the Emirates Centre for Strategic Studies and Research (ECSSR), the third Annual Education Conference of the centre called ‘Information Technology and the Future of Education in the UAE’ commenced on Tuesday.
Topics being discussed include distance education, e-learning for universities, and means to ensure that education is tailored to fit the UAE labour market requirements.
The two-day conference is also discussing state plans to develop digital infrastructure in order to meet the evolving requirements of modern education besides exploring future trends in educational information technologies and their possible applications in the UAE.
