A UAE Interpol team travelled to Kuwait and took two suspects wanted on robbery charges back to the UAE via the Abu Dhabi International Airport. Major Mubarak Saeed Al Kheili, acting Director of the International Criminal Police Department (UAE Interpol) at the Ministry of Interior, clarified that the Kuwaiti security authorities had agreed to extradite the Asian duo, identified as H.A.Kh and M.A.Z, wanted by the security bodies here on a robbery charge.

The Dubai Police reported the matter to the UAE Interpol which in turn sent a ‘wanted notice’ to Kuwait security authorities on April 29. A security delegation from the UAE led by a UAE Interpol officer was dispatched to Kuwait and has been handed over the two fugitives and returned home.

Elaborating, Al Kheili stated that the two wanted had committed a robbery after which they fled the country heading to their homeland via Kuwait. The Kuwait Interpol was given a red notice by the UAE Interpol to arrest the duo who were detained at the Kuwait Airport within approximately 40 minutes after receiving the notice and before the two fugitives could depart to their home country.
