Two fire incidents in Ajman; no casualties reported
Two fire incidents were reported on Monday in Ajman, one in an apartment and the other at a carpentry workshop. However, there were no casualties in both the accidents.
According to Lt. Ali Hassan Al Marzouqi, acting Director of the Operations Room of the Ajman Civil Defence, the first fire erupted in the early morning in a carpentry workshop in Ajman new industrial area and gutted all the content including wood, cardboard and other flammable materials, which caused massive smoke that created panic among the residents.
The second fire broke out in an apartment at 10am was caused by short circuit. It resulted in completely damaging the furniture and personal belongings of the tenants.
