Ajman Police on Monday arrested three Africans for allegedly pickpocketing passengers travelling to and from the city of Al Manama in the emirate of Ajman. The gang allegedly rented a minivan and offered the passengers a ride in the city and then robbed them.
During an investigation, the team managed to identify three Ethiopians including J.A, S.K, and S.T and arrested them red-handed while they were driving around, looking for victims.
The suspects confessed their crime and the police recovered all the cash that they stole from the victims. The case has been referred to public prosecution.
The police found out that the suspects were on visit visa, who allegedly entered the country just to conduct such thefts and get away with the loot.
The police have urged public to report any kind of suspicious and illegal activity.
