Man on trial for breach of trust
In a third case, a RAK Misdemeanour Court bench, presided by Judge Mohammed Al Fasfus, started hearing a case in which an Arab resident is accused of breach of trust.
According to the court records, the complainant was jailed in a case last year. At that time, he allegedly gave around Dh120,000, some jewellery and cheques for Dh250,000 to his friend, the defendant, to keep till he got released from jail.
After serving his jail term, the complainant asked the defendant to return the money and his other belongings, but the latter denied taking anything from him. The complainant filed a police case.
