Sharjah - A 30-year-old Indian worker of a Sharjah-based bank was found hanging from the ceiling fan in his room attached to the bank’s premises.
The worker, S.L, had been working in the bank for several years and reportedly didn’t suffer from any mental problems.
The deceased’s colleague found the body on Monday morning and immediately notified the police.
The police transferred the body to the forensic laboratory for an autopsy and collected forensic evidence from the room.
The deceased’s acquaintances are being questioned by the police to ascertain the reason behind the apparent suicide. -afkarali@khaleejtimes.com
