Man falls to death in Sharjah
The Sharjah Police have launched an investigation into the mysterious death of a 20-year-old Bangladeshi man who died on Friday after falling from the third floor of a building.
The police said they received a call from a passerby about the incident and on reaching the scene, in the Muwailih area, found a man lying in a pool of blood.
The man was rushed to Kuwaiti Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
The police collected all the fingerprints and evidence from the accident site and said no one was found in the flat from where he allegedly jumped.
The man’s body has been transferred to the forensic laboratory for autopsy to determine the cause of death.
The police said they could not say whether the man had committed suicide or was the victim of a criminal act until the investigation was over.
