The woman, an executive secretary (28) told the prosecutor that the incident occurred around 8am near a bus stop in the Dubai Investment Park in Jebel Ali in September.
She said that the bus dropped her and a Bangladeshi at the bus stop and she saw the worker walking away from her. However, shortly she was surprised as she felt someone hugging her from behind. She turned and saw the accused and lost her balance from the shock and fell down.
The accused then tried to lift her skirt but she stopped him and screamed for help as he groped and fondled her. Passers-by gathered at the bus stop and grabbed the defendant preventing him from escaping. He was later arrested by the police.
