A 50 year old Indian expat was found dead in his apartment in Oman on Tuesday evening.
According to Times of Oman, the victim's body was found with his throat slit in his apartment building. The victim was from Thiruvanathapuram, in Kerala.
According to Royal Oman Police's Twitter handle, investigation reveals that the crime was motivated by robbery.

The body was found by the victim's neighbour. 
According to a report, the deceased used to work as a collection agent for a food products distributor and was responsible for daily collections of more than RO15,000. He had been in Oman for the last 30 years.
