Delhi Capitals opener Jake Fraser-McGurk failed to make the Australia squad for the T20 World Cup
According to prosecution records, the Emirati accused together with three others who have been referred to the Juveniles Court, sexually ‘gang-assaulted’ a compatriot after luring him into the restroom. The case dates back to April.
A policeman said he interrogated the accused and the three other accomplices and they all admitted to the crime.
Another policeman who arrested one of the defendants who was referred to the Juveniles Court, quoted him as admitting that he filmed the victim while being assaulted.
The police seized the defendant’s mobile phone in which a clip featuring the assault was found. It was produced as part of the criminal evidence.
All the accused admitted in the Public Prosecution investigation that they gang-assaulted the victim.
