Duo held for possessing 73kg hashish in Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi - The two Asians were trying to sell drugs in the country

Two Asian men were arrested after 73kg of hashish was found from their possession.
Abu Dhabi Police said on Saturday that the anti-narcotics officers caught them while the duo was trying to sell the drug during the month of Ramadan.
"We received information about two men dealing and promoting drugs," said Lt. Col Taher Al Dhaheri, head of anti-narcotics department at Abu Dhabi Police. "They were planning to sell huge quantities of the drug in the country."
He said that a team of officers investigated the case and collected all evidence before arresting the suspects. The two have been referred to the public prosecution.
