The Court of First Instance ordered that the 27-year-old defendant be deported after completing his jail sentence.
The verdict is subject to appeal within 15 days at the Court of Appeal. Earlier, the accused denied the charge and claimed that he only kissed the British girl with her consent.
The girl told the prosecutor that she met the defendant at a bar while celebrating the New Year’s Eve with her parents. They exchanged mobile numbers.
She went out with him one week later and he tried to take off her shirt. She did not let him. He kissed her on her cheek and neck against her will many times.
The girl’s mother, a 41-year-old housewife, said that her daughter went out at noon that day and came back less than two hours later. She looked scared and she was shaking and sweating. Her face was red.
The mother saw a bruise on her daughter’s neck. When she insisted to know what happened, her daughter began to cry and told her that the defendant kissed her many times against her will.
A 19-year-old British female student said that she saw the defendant texting the girl on New Year’s Eve. She warned him that she was just 13. A police lieutenant said the girl’s parents filed a complaint on January 8. The girl had a bruise on her neck.
When confronted, the defendant claimed that he hugged and kissed the girl many times on her neck and cheek with her consent in his car in Arabian Ranches.
