Dubai: A young police official died in a horrific traffic accident at 11.30 am on Wednesday morning.
The accident took place when the police vehicle was parked at the roadside to check on a heavy truck and was suddenly hit by a heavy truck from behind.
The 22-year-old Sudanese police man who was inside the vehicle was crushed and died on the spot. The police spent two hours and had to use a hydraulic cutter to lift the trapped body out of the damaged car.
The body has been sent to the forensic medicine department. The police is removing the damaged police patrol cars and heavy trucks from the roadside.
