William Hare beat Jotun
DUBAI - William Hare beat Jotun Paints by six wickets in the Dubai Aluminium Company LTD’s Ramadan Tournament, a press release said.
Batting first, Jotun Paints scored 141 for 9 in 20 overs with Nitin making 35 and Samir 28.
Awais (3/26) and Sajjad (2/6) were the main bowlers for William Hare.
Chasing the target, William Hare made 147 for 4 in 19 overs. Saqib (70) was the top-scorer while Mehroz made 35. The man of the match award went to Awais.
In the second encounter, Afridi CC beat Al Manal Centre by five wickets. Batting first, Al Manal Centre scored 151 for 7 in 20 overs with Shahzad making 58 not out. Hashmat (2/29) was the top bowler for Afridi CC.
In reply, Afridi CC scored 153 for five in 16 overs. Imran (65) was the best batsman for the winners while Ihshanullah contributed 35.
The man of the match award went to Imran.
