Employees, family members and senior executives including Musharraf Hossein, Group Director, Liberty Investment Company and Farrukh Seer, Partner, Ernst & Young attended the match and the closing ceremony where mementos were presented to the players and umpires.

Liberty led by Amitava Mujumdar, paced their innings well as Anil in the company of the other middle order batsmen ran up a decent 107 all out in 17 overs. Anil’s knock (28) comprised of a couple of hefty blows over the ropes, and quickly run singles and twos.

The E&Y men under Sameer Khan worked hard at their ground fielding especially the keeper who had a ‘stretching day’. He prevented some certain wides and byes from being added to the scoreboard.

E&Y’s Man of the Match Hassan Salman (4-18), Amjad (2-30), Bilal (1-17) and Aiman (1-8) did a commendable job of containing the middle order of the Liberty lineup. In their chase, the more experienced E&Y openers played well to knock off the required runs in comfortable fashion.
