Pakistan made two changes from the team which defeated Sri Lanka by 11 runs last Saturday and also beat Kenya by 205 runs in the first game.

Fast bowler Wahab Riaz and offspinner Saeed Ajmal make their World Cup debuts, replacing Shoaib Akhtar and Abdur Rehman.

Rehman sprained a muscle in his right leg while fielding on Saturday and was advised to have a week’s break, while Akhtar was rested.

Canada left out 40-year-old John Davison and brought in Henry Osinde after a 175-run defeat to Zimbabwe. It also lost to Sri Lanka by 210 runs. Davison did not score in either match.
