South Africa were bowled out for 220 runs in 69. 2overs in the first Test match against Pakistan at the National Stadium in Karachi.

Spinner Yasir Shah was the pick of the Pakistan bowlers, claiming three wickets for 54 runs while Shaheen Shah Afridi (2 for 49) and debutant Nauman Ali ( 2 for 38) also impressed.


Earlier, South Africa captain Quinton de Kock won the toss and opted to bat.
