But for a young cricketer who is yet to make a big impact at the national scene, it is difficult to track down his own performances on the filed.
Well, that anomaly could end with the introduction of a new website in the UAE – U Score Cricket (www.uscorecricket.com).
The website offers a chance for all cricketers to enter their cricket records. “Such data are handy when they approach for a place in a higher league, club or even national side. When you have a attested record of your performances, it gives you mileage when you go for a selection,” explained Waleed Bukhatir, founder of U Score Cricket.
While unveiling the details of the website at the Holiday Inn at Sharjah on Thurdsay, Bukhathir said: “As a player it will help you present your case better when approaching the cricket boards and clubs around the world.”
The service of the website is free. “Our love of the game and passion has pushed us to allow users join and register for free,” he said.
The site offers everyone a chance to register their cricket performances on the software that will allow them to explore their talent in batting, bowling, fielding and umpiring.
Players can enter their records after registering an account with the site.
