Sharma hammered five fours and two sixes as India reached 100 off just 12 overs at Moses Mabhida Stadium, the 2010 football World Cup venue.

Sharma was caught on the boundary by Makhaya Ntini — who is playing his last match for South Africa — off a delivery from J.P. Duminy.

Raina provided valuable late runs at No. 6, with two fours and three sixes, to take India to a strong total on a low, slow pitch.

Juan Theron ended with 2-39 off four overs, including the wicket of Raina off the last ball of the innings.
