Asghar Afghan won the toss and decided that Afghanistan will take first strike against India in the ongoing Asia Cup 2018 tournament being played in UAE.

In Rohit Sharma's absence, Mahendra Singh Dhoni was given the role of leading the Men In Blue, and coincidentally it was his 200th match as captain.

India have made big time changes ahead of their final on Friday. Openers Rohit and Shikhar Dhawan along with Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Jasprit Bumrah and Yuzvendra Chahal were rested.

Deepak Chahar made his debut for India. The 26-year-old from Agra (UP) was handed the coveted blue cap by coach Ravi Shastri.
