Imran leads Adgas to win

ABU DHABI - Imran Ali stroked 82 and took three wickets to lead Adgas to victory over NPCC in the opening week of the ADCC President’s Cup division-two tournament.

Ali hit half-a-dozen sixes and four fours, and shared a 104-run second wicket partnership with Nadeem Rahim, who struck a half century with four fours and a couple of sixes. Adgas made 198 for nine and bowled out NPCC for 147 with Ali and Abdullah Khan taking three wickets apiece.

Aboobaker Ujire missed a century by eight runs and his team, Bin Ham, also blew their chances away due to some untidy bowling, conceding more than 50 runs in extras, as Babcock emerged winners by five wickets and with an over to spare.

Tyger bt Daiyan Degroot by 51 runs. Tyger 166 all out in 20 overs (Nazar Hussain 41, Naeem Sheikh 52, Baber Mushtaq 4-16) vs Daiyan Degroot 115 all out in 19 overs (Kashi Yaqoob 4-35).

Krithi Interiors bt Phoenix by 104 runs. Krithi Interiors 199 for 8 in 25 overs (Ravinda Rao 47 not out) vs Phoenix 95 all out in 22.3 overs.

Abu Dhabi Airport Services bt Perth by 74 runs. Perth 228 for 7 in 25 overs (Shahram Butt 85) vs ADAS 154 all out in 19.4 overs (Afaq Ahmed 3-23, Rizwan Amanat 3-24).

Candor bt Golden Real Estate by 5 wickets. Golden Real Estate 139 for 9 in 20 overs vs Candor 141 for 5 in 19.1 overs.
