Eurocon too good for AEN

SHARJAH — Eurocon Alubond CC, riding on a solid team performance, comfortably kept up their dominance over AEN CC, winning the one-sided match by nine wickets in the third Al Dhaid Gold Cup 40-overs-a-side tournament, organised by the Sharjah Cricket Council.

Eurocon first shot out their opponents for a paltry 108 in the 28^th overs and then knocked off the winning runs in just 8.4 overs. Mohammed Amin bowled brilliantly, taking three wickets for 29 runs.

Mohammed Azam, Vikrant Shetty and Yasir Saeed snared two wickets each to run through the tentative AEN batting line-up.

Eurocon, in reply, built their innings around Abdul Rehman who remained unbeaten on 53 while Harris Baige chipped in with a fine 45.
