Emirates CTA lads on UK tour
DUBAI — The Emirates Cricket Training Academy players today left for the United Kingdom to play a series with Purley Cricket Club, Surrey.
Emirates Academy is a premier cricket coaching academy in UAE since1998 having successfully producing young talented players.
It is run by Shakil Latif, Level 1 ICC Certified coach and veteran UAE cricketer, who is assisted by Rizwan Ahmed, a UAE cricketer, and Aqeel Ahmed.
Under Latif’s coaching, the cricketers will play nine matches, which include a four-match series against VS purley Cricket Club-Surrey.
This will be academy’s 13th overseas tour to the United Kingdom.
The team: Shakil Latif (coach), Daniyal Shakeel (captain), Shahid Mehmood (vice-captain), Varun Shankar, Varun Vasudevan, Muhammad Adil, Anantha Gopakumar, Rahul Anil, Nabil Zakir, Raheel Sajid, Munib Zulfiqar, Arsalan Shaikh, Muhammad Saad Ansari, Ali Khan, Ahad Shakil, Wasay Rizwan.
