Match is over as Kamran is injured. Chennai hit back after three successive defeats to Rajasthan last year. It was a magnificent match Raina made his own. He made no mistakes in the field either. Very professional performance by the bowlers to restrict the Rajasthan batsman. Chennai are on fifth place with five points and Rajasthan are at No.6.

A magnificent innings ends when Raina, 98 off 55 balls, caught out by Smith. Badri played a neat supporting role and later Dhoni. Raina prematurely celebrated his Hundred as the giant screen displayed it as 100 instead of 98.

Having won only one game so far, the Chennai team would have to bounce back with more victories if they are hoping to qualify among the top four. The Rajasthan team are on a comeback trail after a bad start, all thanks to the efforts of Yusuf Pathan who has no mercy for the bowlers. With two wins and two losses so far, the team is placed fifth on the points table. Their bowling has been ranging from good to brilliant throughout, but it’s their batting - particularly the top-order, that needs to be worked on. If Yusuf Pathan has a bad game, there is no go-to person for Warne to fall back on. Rajasthan would like to continue their winning streak when they take on the Chennai team.

Chennai Super Kings :

Although their batting has been good through out the IPL, the bowlers have not come to the party, especially during the middle overs. A frustrated MS Dhoni had mentioned that the bowlers had let the team down during the tournament. They haven’t had the best of luck too, with nearly every loss being a close or fairly close one and also their game against the weakest side, the Kolkata Knight Riders, being washed out. Having won only one game so far, The Chennai team would have to bounce back with more victories if they are hoping to qualify among the top four.
