Both the teams are in good form throughout this tournament and the toss could prove a crucial factor in deciding the winner with the Mumbai pitch likely to assist the spinners in the second innings.

It may not be an ideal scenario for the final, but it has to be noted that the highest score chased successfully under lights at the Wankhede Stadium is 225.

Sri Lanka chased the target in 1997 on their way to register a five-wicket victory.

In the 10 day-night matches here, the team batting second have won four times, with India having a good record of chasing down targets in their matches against Australia and South Africa. Generally, the track offers a lot of assistance to the spinners, but pacers too had excellent outing here with the pitch offering a bit of bounce early on.

Being a crunch game, chasing a target above 250 could prove a bit dicey in Mumbai. Even if a team lose the toss here, they have to make sure that the total wouldn’t surpass 270.
