Rabada played 11 matches and took 11 wickets for his IPL team Punjab Kings
Naeemuddin cracked 106 off just 63 balls with seven fours and seven sixes while Azam made a fluent 103 off 77 balls which contained 11 fours and five sixes to destroy the Fly Emirates attack. Thanks to the two brilliant centuries, Eurocon Alubond, batting first, rattled up a huge 381 for six in 50 overs. Harris Baig (52 off 39 balls) and Mujtaba (32 off 33 balls) also chipped in with useful contributions down the order. Experienced Nigel Fernandez and Khurram Khan picked up two wickets, but conceded far too many runs for their hauls.
Fly Emirates, in reply, were bowled out for 206 in the 33rd over with their top batsmen falling cheaply while trying to maintain the pace with the ever-increasing asking rate. Khurram Khan (62 off 50 balls with six fours and two sixes) and Amjad Javed (34 off 33 balls) had good starts, but they failed to convert those into big innings.
Arshad Ali (23 off 13 balls), Safeer (23 off 21 balls) and Rehan (21 not out off 23 balls) also contributed to the total, but Fly Emirates were never in the hunt to threaten the Eurocon Alubond score.
Adnanul Mulk snared three wickets for 23 runs while Mohammed Azam rounded off a fine all-round performance by picking up two wickets to seal the victory.
