Ashraf, Das score centuries

ABU DHABI — Mohammed Ashraf stroked an unbeaten century to script Emistate’s 116-run win over Tebodin in the UAE Exchange Centre Division Two cricket tournament at the Abu Dhabi Cricket Council grounds.

Ashraf clubbed an unbeaten 156 and was also involved in a 187-run fifth wicket stand with Shoukat Ali as Emistate posted 287 for the loss of six wickets. Ali made 61. Then, they restricted Tebodin to 171 for six in the 25 overs. Sajid Muttukuamr took three for 26. Anish Arjun made 40 for Tebodin.

In another game, Ravi Das made an unbeaten 102 and was also stitched together an unbroken 203 runs for the second wicket with Shah Hussain (76 n.o) as Al Ain Sport Plex defeated EMKE Group by nine wickets.

Amit Nair took five wickets for six runs and Bose Pratap stroked a breezy 75 not out to script Activa Emirates’ seven-wicket win over Petroleum Institute. Nafees Ahmed’s five-wicket haul setup Abu Dhabi Airport Technology to a 45-run triumph over Etihad Airways.
