Earlier today, the FAHR announced that employees of the UAE’s ministries and federal government departments must undergo a PCR test for Covid-19 every seven days. Fully vaccinated employees are exempted.

Additionally, consultants and experts who are required to attend meetings or be present at government office premises are required to have a negative PCR test result taken no more than three days prior. Fully vaccinated consultants are exempted from this requirement.

This came as the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) issued a circular to all federal ministries and authorities, updating its procedures to curb the spread of Covid-19.
