While practicing home quarantine, one should not share personal things and use separate plates," health authorities have advised.
"While practicing your home quarantine, there are many things you can do as an extra precaution and care. Keep your social distance between you and other family members. Use your own personal things and don't share it with others," said Dr Hend Al Awadhi,
Head of Health Promotion and Education Section at the Dubai Health Authority.
Dr. Al Awadhi was answering queries on #AskDXBdoctor, a social media initiative by the
Dubai Media Office in collaboration with the DHA and Mohammed bin Rashid University.
Residents can pose their questions using the hashtag and the team of experts will answer them.
The doctor said people on quarantine should use their own plates and don't share it with anybody else to reduce the risk of spreading the virus.
