More than 1,100 Sobha Realty employees and their families are now fully vaccinated against Covid-19.
Supporting the country’s vaccination drive, the real estate developer in Dubai offered Sinopharm jabs to its staff in a campaign, and employees eagerly came forward to get their dose of protection, said Sobha Realty president Jyotsna Hegde.
“Throughout the pandemic, the health and safety of our employees has been our utmost priority and we are proud to have completed the vaccination drive at Sobha Hartland, with more than 1,100 employees and their families having received the second dose of the Covid-19 vaccine. We believe this endeavour is critical to the wellbeing and health of our employees and customers, allowing us to fulfil our commitment of offering quality, luxury real estate,” Jyotsna said.
Now that they’re fully vaccinated, employees feel confident. Olaf Wagner, head of quality and technology, said: “I feel very lucky to have had the opportunity to receive the Covid-19 vaccine through the company’s vaccination drive. It is another step in the company’s various efforts to keep us employees protected and making sure we are safe and healthy during this pandemic. This gives me the confidence when interacting with customers and colleagues, while abiding by safety measures.”
Vivek Ram, vice-president for sales, said the jab was particularly important to him as he is living with elderly parents. “It is really assuring to have taken the vaccine. I have been able to play my part in protecting myself, and in turn protecting my family.”
Hiba Khalifa, sales manager, added: “Now that I have completed the second dose of the Covid-19 vaccine, I will have the opportunity to travel safely in a few weeks, and visit my family in Lebanon. I feel much more comfortable travelling now and feel I will not be risking the health of my family back home.”
