As per the latest resolution released by the Inter-agency Task Force (IATF), passengers flying to the Philippines will be required to undergo RT-PCR testing on their 6th day of quarantine from the date of arrival.
Apart from this, non-OFWs and foreign nationals will also need to show proof of a pre-booked accommodation for at least seven nights in an accredited quarantine hotel or facility.
The country first announced on January 29 that it would relax travel curbs on foreigners from more than 30 countries that have detected cases of the UK variant of the coronavirus.
This included a temporary ban on travellers from the UAE, as reported by Philippines News Agency.
Cebu Pacific has noted that it will continue to operate its domestic and international flights as scheduled. The airline advised passengers to check the real-time status of flights as well as travel requirements and safety protocols prior to going to the airport.
