“In line with the UAE’s Ministry of Health and Prevention’s (MoHAP) vaccine rollout plan, Department of Health is encouraging citizens and residents in Abu Dhabi to book an appointment for vaccination at any of more than 100 locations across the emirate. To book, visit http://doh.gov.ae,” the Abu Dhabi Media Office said.
The Ministry of Health and Prevention late on Saturday announced that free Covid-19 vaccines are now open to all UAE residents aged 16 and above. This comes after the ministry prioritised the elderly and other vulnerable groups for the jab for six weeks. Starting Sunday, March 21, all eligible residents aged 16 and above can book appointments to get the jab.
The UAE has vaccinated 56.6 per cent of population while 72.9 per cent of vulnerable groups have received Covid-19 vaccine.
