As the UAE government is taking stringent measures to curb the spread of Covid-19, the Ministry of Health and Prevention has asked people to visit healthcare facilities only at prearranged times.

Violators will be fined Dh1,000, the ministry warned in their tweet.

Violators will be fined for "visiting a healthcare facility other than at the prearranged times set out by the Ministry of Health and Prevention, or for unnecessary situations", the tweet specifies.

This step is taken to ensure that a large number of people do not gather at clinics and hospitals as well as restricting unnecessary visits to healthcare facilities.
