Those Pakistani nationals who are stuck in the UAE due to flight suspensions and want to return have been asked to register.
Consulate General of Pakistan, Dubai, is collecting data of the people who want to travel back to Pakistan when special flights will become operational.
"The Consulate General of Pakistan is collecting data of people who want to travel to Pakistan, if any special flights are arranged from UAE. All concerned are requested to kindly fill the form and send back on whats app to 0097156-3962911 or email at parepdubai@mofa.gov.pk ," the consulate said in a tweet on Friday.
The form is available on the consulate's twitter handle, or apply here (English) and here (Urdu).
Like many nationals from other countries, thousands of Pakistanis are stuck in the UAE after flights were suspended to contain spread of coronavirus.
Emirates airline on Thursday announced that it has received approval to operate special flights from April 6 to certain countries. Initially it will start with European cities and will expand it to other countries, depending on the approval of authorities in those countries. Operating from Dubai International airport Terminal 2, these flights will only carry outbound passengers from the UAE.
